Few belters at the best racecourse either side of the pond today, very little seem to separate many of the main protagonists in some of the big ones. It will be very intriguing to see how Honeysuckle copes today, dropping back to two miles again, I feel she will make all and power home to win. Few selections, of which I hope at least one obliges to keep the head above water. Latest Exhibition 10/3 - 12.50 Cilaos Emery 6/1 - 1.25 Gallant John Joe 40/1 E/W - 2.00 Eric Bloodaxe 5/2 - 4.20 Enjoy your day folks
Agree totally Rudey. I'm in the car a lot these days so listen to a fair bit of football chat on the various stations (should download some podcasts but too ****in lazy!). What amazes me with the majority of fans of the clubs in the bottom half of the prem and top half of the championship is that they are totally fixated on Prem football. Gaining promotion to it or finishing 17th in it are to be celebrated as major achievements. Staying in the prem for half a dozen seasons similar. They're not interested in the cups which once won (Wigan) can never be erased from the football history books. All that filthy luca only gets redistributed amongst a bunch of very lucky but in essence bang average footballers (Robbie Savage and his like). Crazy really but the lemmings carry on following.
3 bets today for me: Sandown 2.25pm Laurina 15/8. Mullins's horses running better and with weight pull she gets will be difficult to beat. Wetherby 2.45pm Ardlethen 11/2 each way. Blinkers going on today and ran ok at course previously.. think if has a good chance in an open contest. Musselburgh 3.15pm Sumkindofking 10/1 each way. Good luck all if you are playing.....
Stolen from City in the 70's Drink a drink a drink to COLIN the king the king the king He's the leader of man city he's the greatest inside forward the Woooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrllllllldd ( and a little longer at times) has ever seen.
Totally agree with this with Sky ruining football..corporate greed right there folks for some of those at Sky!! I hardly watch football these days..after the racing today I m popping up the road to watch 6 nations Ireland v Scotland..not bothered about the premiership game on at 5.30pm. That wouldn't have been the case in previous years....
Heading to Ltown with what looks like a very competitive card. However we cant but try to pick a few winners so here are my darts. Latest Exhibition 7/2 Min 9/4 Notebook 2/1 Batcio 11/2 Sharjah 11/8 Unexpected 4/1 Eric Bloodaxe 5/2
Leopardstown looks a brilliant card. I like Longhouse Poet in the first, A Plus Tard, Massive Fakir fan but think Notebook looks very special over fences, Sharjah in the hurdle race.
All the bens at sandown, also like cap du nord in the 3.35. Arthur’s gift at muss for twisters Cheers.
I had a good long look at Arthurs Gift today backed it last twice only for it do disappoint. Looked to struggle with the trip last time so had serious doubts about it going further today. Decided to leave it but might still have a go before the off
I did Sharjah because I think Honeysuckle looks bad value up in class and down in trip. For the double I kept faith in Notebook, who is 2 lbs better in despite beating Fakir D'Oudairies last time. 9/4 is a drifting price, which is a slight concern but he should be prominent and hopefully can enhance his Arkle claims at Cheltenham. 2.00 Leop Notebook 9/4 3.10 Leop Sharjah 6/4 I would have them 7/4 and Evens respectively, so they both appeal at the odds currently.
Impressive from Chacun Pour Soi. Idled all the way in but one feels there is even more improvement in him, very relaxed animal.
For you amusement and entertainment, here are my Saturday comp picks: follow them at your risk! Sand 2-25 Itchy Feet 3-00 Grand Morning 3-35 Classic Ben Muss 2-05 Miranda 2-40 Cracking Destiny Weth 2-45 Newtide
I know one of the owners the long term plan is for it to run in the national he up there today he’s just messaged me so that’s a positive.
Is it just me or are any number of these Mullins horses missing the steadying hand of Ruby Walsh in the plate? Klassical Dream and Laurina both looking a shadow of the horses they were. Plenty for Willie to think about ahead of Cheltenham.
