When we were relegated everyone was worrying about what would happen and Bowen popped up. I'm not expecting a superstar out of nowhere, but life will go on.
There’s KLP, Maddison, Samuelson, Wilks (), Scott (I think this kid is going to be decent), Irvine, Toral when fit. Life goes on, City will go on. I’ve convinced my lad KLP is the next big player, so he’s backing him now
There's talent in the squad, I just hope the players can get a good understanding. The Brentford game is now a free hit, I can't see us getting anything with our injuries, we should focus on gelling this team ready for next season. Minimal spend in Summer, hit the ground running.
Bowen given the number 17 at WHU. I'll stick him in my Fantasy Football team. Go on Jarrod, get me out the ****.
Well, Jarrod finally went and by the sounds of it, both Club and himself, in particular, got a good deal. I'm really sad to see him go, as I watched a lot of him through the U23 ranks, but he really deserves his paid day and chance at the top level for the service and commitment he gave us. Good luck Jarrod, I wish you all the best. As for Turbo, I felt he grew to like it in Hull, and even though he was very much hit and miss at times, he leaves with my best wishes. Unlike a lot of clubs, he was with in the past, he seemed to be an impact sub, for the most part, he got a run of games with us which I think he really enjoyed and appreciated. I see Tyler Hamilton and Charlie Andrews have left, both good players, but were probably not going to make the grade with City, so hopefully, they can go onto make a career for themselves elsewhere. Finally, Marcus Henriksen has gone, the club particularly made a bit of a mess of it, extended his contract with the hope of a good payday, but sadly it didn't work out that way. I never really felt he fulfilled his potential with us, even though he did play OK under Nigel. Maddison sounds a good signing, though I do find it a bit strange getting him in on loan. On the one hand, I can understand that maybe with him out of contract with P'boro at the end of the season, we get to see how he goes and if he does well then sign him up. But on the other hand, if he does really well, then he is open to offers from other clubs which could push his stock up and price us out of it? Of cause I am not privy to his agreement with the club, let's hope they have sorted that scenario out. James Scott is obviously one for the future, whether he makes the grade TWT, but they obviously feel he has something.
I hope your right glp but for me there’s no goals in that team and that’s a worry. Eaves and maguiness arent the answer. Klp is the only one possibly, the rest....who knows
Cheeky clause included as West Ham seal £20m Jarrod Bowen deal Date published: Friday 31st January 2020 11:42 please log in to view this image West Ham have completed the signing of highly-rated Hull forward Jarrod Bowen for an undisclosed fee, widely reported to be £20million. The Hammers beat fellow suitors Crystal Palace to the 23-year-old, offering the Tigers £14m up front and a further £6m in add-ons. Bowen has signed a five-and-a-half-year deal at the London Stadium, keeping him with Hammers until summer 2025 and the deal being completed minutes before the 11pm deadline. Reports claim Bowen, who had also been chased by Newcastle and Leeds this month, has signed a deal worth £80,000 a week. As per a report in the Daily Express, his contract contains an exit clause that would allow him to leave this summer in the event that West Ham are relegated from the Premier League.
20 goals and 9 assists in 43 appearances in the MLS and 14 of those were only sub appearances (over half the goals and assists this season), he’s doing very well.
Anyway. Good luck and best wishes Jarrod. Hope it works out for you and look forward to watching your career develop. Have we inserted a sell on clause?
So now we dont have to play with 3 up top, did McCann play with 2 strikers at previous clubs? Would hopefully give ours a better chance.
