My mistake mate. I was just going on your recent posts. Britain stood alone against the Nazis when our European chums had capitulated. Air raids of horrendous magnitude were endured and had it not been for our magnificent air force during the battle of Britain, this island would surely have been invaded. We weren't losing we were holding our own. Obviously the yanks being forced into the war against their will tipped the balance, along with a terrible decision by Hitler to invade Russia.
I’ll call them thick. 4 years on and absolute morons like that still don’t understand what the **** it was all about.
This kind of condescending attitude towards anyone who voted leave is one of the main reasons our Country will remain divided imo. Time to pull together.
No one has commented on ALL of those who voted Leave. Merely on the comments of some absolute bone heads from last night. As for ‘pulling together’ I’ve no idea what that is supposed to actually mean in this context. I’ll carry on with my life, but when the effects of Brexit hit home, those who delivered and cheered it on, will rightly be held to account.
Okey dokey. What if things ultimately improve, as many forecasters have now changed their opinion to? Will you then embrace our brave new world?
So these are done yeah? https://www.businessinsider.com/lia...als-the-second-after-brexit-2017-10?r=US&IR=T
Must have missed all of those forecasters suggesting that, I’ve seen suggestion that the U.K. will receive a bounce due to certain aspects been clarified but the forecasts are pretty much universally bad.
Thomas McBrexit, the lead economist at the Institute of Optimism says we’ll all be richer when Turkey joins the EU and it crumbles simultaneously.
Which forecasters are these? You seem to be confusing less ****e than previously thought, with better than i.e. an improvement on the status quo.
