And you said you had to get your laundry cleaned
Didn't want no one to hold you? What does that mean?

    And you said:

"Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride
Nobody gonna slow me down, oh no
I got to keep on movin'
Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride
    I'm running and I won't touch ground
Oh no, I got to keep on movin' "

I hit 50 a few years ago so no sympathy from me :emoticon-0102-bigsm.
50 is about the age that every movement produces a sound effect, even if its just a grunt when you get up from a chair. It's also when you stop having left and right knees and instead have a good knee and a bad knee.
It's still fun though, when you're back isn't playing you up :emoticon-0105-wink:

Funny - I love bananas too, but have the same issue. I wonder if there’s something different about the way they’re grown now?

Nope Dave. I believe it is age of gut. One by one, men, who were boys growing up, loving bananas to eat, get to an age where they can't eat them anymore. I'm not saying that there isn't a variety out there, that isn't exported to the UK, that doesn't cause massive indigestion to the older bloke. Who knows? But getting hold of them to try is another matter. Another "I believe", is that our bananas, ie the ones we ate while growing up, came pretty much exclusively from the Winward Islands, once a British colony. Don't think that is the case anymore.

The item suggests there will be severe gridlock around the Southampton area all weekend, and perhaps even beyond. Not if people are sensible and decide to leave the car well alone until the beginning of next week.

It was always just a matter of time. Now to see how we handle it.

Can the crown virus stop them being crowned?
I bet the L'pool fans are worried. This is like Gods intervention.
If it spreads rapidly, there will be stadium bans.

Technology! Do I Like it? Only for what it can do and makes possible. I'm often just as fascinated by old technology as new. I get really nostalgic for old quality record turntables, for example. Conversely, I'm not keen on technology that spies on me. For example, anyone with an Alexa smart speaker, is giving away their data, which is 21st century oil. And I like my privacy, even though I'm also giving some away right now. But what of the coming general AI revolution? Does it frighten you, or do you welcome it? There are many benefits, after all. Or are you ignorant of it? That's probably the worst place to be. So here is a video from Pindex showing what is in the pipeline with general AI [the other "narrow" AI is, for example, a driverless car or robotaxi]. The film that appears regularly is Ex Machina from 2015. It's really compelling viewing, if you like earthbound sci-fi, which asks several questions of us. What will happen when AI starts to look upon humans like we might view a cat. Not in terms of love and sentimentality, but in the gulf between its digital brain power and our organic human variety. Maybe this video will provoke you to think:

Anyone who likes war drama's, I can highly recommend 1917.
Lovely continuity, brilliant story, very well made. Well done Sam Mendes.
