Will probably be an unpopular opinion, but I think Bowen recently has became a little to greedy and Possibly getting a little to "Phil brown" and believing his own hype a little to much. One of the great things about him over the last couple of years was how he effected the players around him with regards to assists and key passes etc.. over the last few weeks it's been more about trying to do it all himself
Certainly noted that when Grosicki stepped up to take the FK v Chelsea and scored (rather luckily), Bowen looked distinctly underwhelmed!
Burnsy asked McCann about it after the game, he said if we get a free kick on the edge of the box, it's always going to be Kamil's, which is a bit daft if it's in a position that suits a left footer (Kamil skies half of his anyway).
**** source, but just in case... Exclusive: Newcastle submit mammoth £20m Jarrod Bowen bid https://www.footballinsider247.com/newcastle-united-submit-blockbuster-jarrod-bowen-bid/
And for the relatively cheap money will help West Brom get promoted and Kamil will be back in the PL where he wants....given our **** incomings can't blame him if he goes.
This turned out to be £100k + wasted then... https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/jack-barlow-hull-city-jail-3783772
Gutted about Turbo, best thing for him financially for sure, and he'll be in the prem next year no doubt, not sure he'll be first choice there either. People slag him off but his record for assists and goals in the time he's been here has been superb, gunna miss the mardy arsed twat when he goes
Take money for grosicki and bowen, write this season off and use what the allams give Terry, or next manager, to have a better crack next season. Meh!
Who can blame him if he goes. He was off in the Summer anyway. Club get summat & he gets a new job with a little job security. He’s scored goals, set up others, gave us a few laughs & caused us a little frustration. Good luck to him.
