Under the same manager he had at Fylde, which suggests the manager rated him last time around, and you'd hope that translates to a good loan spell. At 20, perhaps would have hoped he'd have made it into League 2 by now, but equally it sounds like he's a more "cultured" CB, in need of some toughening up to be able to compete. So the level perhaps suits that.
Farke in the presser today saying that no incomings expected who will make an immediate impact this season, but that it's Webber's job to plan medium-term business too. Michael Bailey suggests that's a hint, RE Sinani
That's what I meant above when I said: "Sinani might just settle in, play for the U23s then be ready for next season". I can see SW planning ahead that way. The other possibility would be to sign him and then loan him back to his present club for the rest of the season like we did with McLean.
Daily Fail is still convinced that we're in talks to sign Sinani: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...al-Luxembourg-international-Danel-Sinani.html
Sevilla jarred off over lack of game time for Amadou. https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/amadou-to-leave-city-and-join-serie-a-side-1-6485920
His leaving would free up a "non home grown" spot in the squad which may be crucial. Sinani in line to fill that spot?
Can see Sevilla being unhappy about it, but Amadou has been inconsistent so far. Very good against ManCity but middling to poor in other games, though he hasn't played much in his preferred position. He hasn't looked a 'big money' signing and certainly won't stay if we go down. Do we need him more than Sinani? Hard to say really and Sinani could be a player who might make a difference in the run in, as an impact sub initially and possibly a starter if needed. Could be a gamble worth taking.
Our current options for DM without Amaduo are Tettey and Trybull, I believe it was reported that Rupp has experience playing there and used to play alongside Vrancic in CM which could be a useful pairing going forward. We also have Thompson back from his loan and Godfrey could step forward keeping Hanley and Zimbo at CB.
Looks like Amadou may be cutting his loan short and the prolific Luxembourg midfielder may be replacing him .
Both he and Sinari look to be good additions. Sitti will be 20 in a couple of weeks and looks like taking Amadou's place at DM when he joins us in the summer. He can also play at CM which suggests a ball playing DM. Having already played 13 games in the French second division he'll be like a young player returning from loan. At 22 Sinari is already well experienced, but the key will be how they adapt to English football.
