I like Scowen but he's another one our ****ing knuckle dragging idiot fan base treated like ****. No wonder he's off. He won't be on pennies but he was signed during austerity wasn't he so can't be that huge an earner.

    Sad Scowen has gone.
He did good for us, but Warburton didn't like him and he was driven out by fans.
For the record he had only 3 yellows this year...far less than Hugill, Wells, BOS.

    He is better than Smith
He is as good as Ball and Cameron, but shorter.

I think this is heightism, I am reporting it to the relevant authorities!

I will remember for ever his goal against Swansea. I had the perfect to see what a spectacular goal it was

Good luck Josh, you were a good and honest player who really saved us last year

Scowen. We'll never know for sure but if he was driven out by the abuse from some fans (to his Dad as well), then that is a very, very VERY sad day for QPR and, frankly, enough to make me wonder whether I want to continue being a football fan! Perhaps just as well we'll never know.

Wells. I thought it was very good PR from the club to announce that we do want to sign him but negotiations are tough.

If BOS goes for £8m I can only assume that someone has some incriminating video of someone related to QPR doing something very bad!!

Really hope we don't get dragged into a relegation battle after this nonsense is over. Time for Hugill to step up.

Always loved the fight he gave - could never doubt his commitment and wish him the very best for the future

Absolutely. A much underrated DCM who never gave less than 100% and earned his place in the line up - I remember some over the last two years questioning why Bojczuk never got a game and Henry never got a chance to regain his place in the starting line up. The answer was the consistent cy and energy of the Rat and more skill than we had ever given him credit for. Our very brief uplift in form at the end of the last season came through his efforts last year. BOS didn't have an end product, Eze's form had dipped and Freeman and Luongo had lost their mojos while our clueless manager buried his head in his hands offering nothing at all. The other youngsters had all been packed off round the League because he couldn't be bothered to develop them himself.

I remember Scowen playing really well in a more forward role at the end of last season, when Eustace was in charge. Shame he wasn't in the same form at the start of this season back in a more defensive role.

Sorry to see Scowan go, not least because he's a distant Cousin of my Sons.

What's all this about abuse from fans? Must have missed that.

Liked Scowen can understand why he's done one though. We should re-sign Karl Henry just for the dickhead fans to vent their anger on.

Don't think he did. It was the gaffer wot done one on him - remember him scoring Barnsley's winner against us a few seasons back - hope he doesn't repeat the trick next season at the Stadium of Light!

Saw it quoted somewhere yesterday (damned if I can find it) that Burnley are interested in BOS, and are looking at a cash + Wells deal.....the figures were £17M for BOS, or £13M + Wells - I don't think Wells is worth £4M though....

Have to say all teams have them. Duncan Watmore has suffered 2 cruciate knee ligament injuries in 2 years and pulled a muscle 3 weeks after his return - some fans abused his Dad on twitter (former Chief Exec of the FA Ian Watmore) - his Dad's comeback was always "Thanks for your support" -

I have just left one FB forum because I just got fed up with derisory comments and remarks. I can't understand the mentality and to call themselves fans!!
Most were saying how crap or rubbish Scowen was and I am being polite just beggars belief.

Scored again tonight! Money talks Soops, and although we aren't rich, any decent bid would probably force Dundee Utds hand. They're well clear of the pack in regards to the title anyway
