Newcastle 3.10 Bleu Et Noir This horse was quite promising in novice hurdles some time ago and showed encouraging signs last run over fences until a blunder 2 out. Must have an nice each-way chance with mark down to 100 now given the fact he reached a top rating of 130 over hurdles. Tim Vaughn stats in chases at Newcastle over the last 5 seasons: 7 runs 2 wins 3 placed
Lingfield 1.30 Flibinight Trainer Gifford with eyecatching stats in Lingfield bumpers over the last 5 seasons: 6 runs 3 wins 2 placed Flibinight is a sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Getabird 4/1 on offer seems to be worth a bet.
I like two at Lingfield today: 1:30 - Scarlett O'halo 9/2 3:00 - Gregarious 4/1 Win singles and win double
I’ve had the nod for shimba hills today at Newcastle. A connection in the yard are lining one up for the festival.
In the 2.10 I really like Cairnshill. Backed the horse when looking the likely winner at Carlisle this season (2nd, very tenderly ridden). Was on this one a few times after that performance. Last time after the race the trainer explained tacky ground didn't suit. Today on good to soft and 2lb below last winning mark over hurdles I'll take another each way chance on Cairnshill getting a place at least.
Newcastle 4.10 Storm Nelson Was running well for a long time back from a long break last outing. Surely fitter today.Only 1lb higher than last winning mark. Tommie O'Brien an eyecatching jockey booking in events like this in my opinion.
Not one of theirs but one bought by Alan for one of his owners. Here’s a clue. I tipped it a while back and it won. My mate wanted to buy this horse but couldn’t compete with the price. It’s trained by a big trainer.
Sorry misunderstood this post. See above. Btw what’s the name of the ptp near Alan’s. talking to my mate gonna try and go to the yard that day and watch gallops my mate will ride for them.
Morning, morning. So then how are we all coping amidst the old ‘constitutional crisis’??? What, what, what, what, what, what, what??? Personally, I find that deep breaths, a stiff upper lip and a stoical attitude help. Bit of helpful advice there for you all.
Excellent to see the forum's favourite Royal-admirer back Lieutenant Henderson Bullish with a capital "B" re Santini
I’m as bullish, old boy, as I was in January 2018 when I first said that Santini would win the 2020 CGC. If he makes it to post I really can’t see any other outcome. In fact my Bullish level is off the scale re Santini. Yes, I'm full of bullish.
While I’m on, I’m not sure of the old protocol, as I’ve never been that sort of boy, but I may need an application form sent to me by the mods to join the ‘I’ve been told…’ brigade. Not sure of the membership criteria but I’m guessing any application needs to be supported by either a Royal, a member of the Clergy, an MP or a high-ranking military man. Incidentally, I can have my credentials stamped in this way, no problem, as I can go all the way up to Princess Camilla.
