    I love only connect - particularly the gorgeous host! Can never answer many questions in the first 2 rounds, but connecting walls and missing vowels are getting easier!

    I always thought so but this mythology has built up that it was an error. This is the first I have heard of anyone quoting somebody involved that it was deliberate.

There is a thread on the premier league board about essentially their fantasy women and it is always the same type, models reality stars and the like. Physical beauty is never the be all and end all.     RIP Nicholas Parsons. 96 years old, so it's not a shock, but he's been around forever and seemed like a nice bloke.
    I hope that there are no unsavoury stories lingering around to change that view, as with a lot of his contemporaries.

    Giles Coren. I think food critic is his main job but he presents TV shows sometimes with Sue Perkins. Their father Alan was a top man. Very funny writer and broadcaster.
