Used to lie him, but now seems he wants everything in his favour https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51256760 I;m stating to dislike him.
Spread the hate, they're all at it. "Because the rules are not the best, we have another game, in a break in the season," said Saints manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, who has managed in the German Bundesliga. "I don't understand this but, OK, we have to do it. It's for us not perfect but we must accept it." Spurs and Liverpool will have 11 days off instead of two weeks. If Newcastle have to play their replay at Oxford on 4 February, three days after a Premier League game against Norwich, they will only have 12 days off before their trip to Arsenal. Had any of those sides been scheduled to play in the first weekend of the winter break, they would have had two full weeks off. "It's a ridiculous situation," said Bruce. "You're supposed to have a week off then all of a sudden they've shoved replays in there. What's the point?"
It is a bit ****ing silly though, introducing a winter break for the first time but then not actually having the break that was introduced.
It wouldn't surprise me, these things start out a discussion, give it a couple of years and it'll be a pen shoot out. I'm not fussed either way but I do understand what it means to the smaller clubs, especially financially.
Maybe we could just award the tie based on who had bigger profits in future. The fans could all turn up and watch a trend graph on the screen. I think this will be the last season of them.
To be honest you do here people saying how small clubs need the money etc. But all that is suggesting is finance should be a factor in sport.... Long discussion that's been had to death and I cba so laters mate
Should have done the business in 90 minutes, he's only got himself to blame. On the plus side Shrewsbury will make a massive bucket full of cash that will help keep the club going.
As Willy has alluded to...if replays are a problem then play a stronger team but he doesn’t want to do that he wants to save them for other games. Wants it all Hopefully he loses a few first teamers to long term injuries...that’ll teach him
I don’t blame him for asking the question. He’s contracted to win things for Liverpool, not to preserve our football traditions. It’s the spineless FA pandering to the PL in the hope of a quiet life I have an issue with.
Yep. Not just Klopp but all managers who field weak teams, and disrespect the competition. If you have to replay then too bad.
All football matches should be reduced to an 11 v 11 penalty shootout with an advert break after each penalty.
I blame him for chucking the teddy and crying like a bitch as their mid season break would have been shortened by 3 days, as a direct result of his team selection yesterday. If they win yesterday the issue of the replay date is moot. But he chose to field a weakened team and it went pear. It’s arrogance followed by petulance, and for me it’s not a good look.
