Given Klopp's team selection, he was never serious about this competition, but the first teamers should be performing far better than this. Take nothing away from Shrewsbury, they want this much more than our boys

 

If lovren played for someone else I'd think he was hilarious. Unfortunately I have to watch him **** up for us.

Sweet jesus if he waddled onto the pitch with big floppy shoes, red nose and multi coloured wig I wouldn't be shocked

 

Can't see us winning now, been appalling in creating chances. Its a draw or Shrews take a win from here.

Just what we needed an extra game.

 

Worst I've seen us play in years.. They've been light years better than us

 

What a load of ass this second half has been

 

They just came back from injuries not 100 percent fit.

 

Not sure what this tells us, either our backups aren't as good as think (when not being carried by the regular first XI) or they the senior players tonight were complacent, but fair play to Shrewsbury, the game clearly meant much more to them than it did to us.

 

I don't know how he does it but every time Lovren has a football at his feet or is anywhere near it in defence it's like he's willing something bad to happen

 

Hopefully a strong team for the replay, get a few goals up and then rest players. That was embarrassing, I have to live in Shrewsbury for God's sake and two of my neighbours are season ticket holders at Shrewsbury. I am going to get some stick tomorrow after that crap performance.

 

I'm not going to get to over excited, it's a poor result and some abject performances from some of the seniors.

But on one hand you can't put absolutely no relevance to the competition and then expect them to play their heart out. Especially coming back from injuries.

All in all, I'm just not that arsed, glad the salopians get a night to remember.

 

Great cup game, I'd rather we had won it like but we'll welcome them to Anfield and give them a spanking.

 

Yeah, in truth a replay does not really overstretch us seeing as its half our u23 side

 

If anything this game gave time to players who needed it.

The Anfield game does the same.

 

Wouldnt expect the team to be much different to today.

 

Can we sell Lovren during the week? Why was Phillips sent back out on loan?

 

I'd rather have lost than have a replay. We were better with youngsters only side, Origi, Matip, Fabinho and Lovren all looked poor.

 

Lovren, Matip and Fabinho were all poor. But silly to have trio so close together that are all getting minutes after returning from injury.

Minamino looked lost, Origi wasn't much better until Bobby & Mo came on.

That LB had a shocker, no chance he's making it at Liverpool.
