Bristol City reportedly rival Derby County for Leicester City defender Filip Benkovic https://www.derbycounty.news/transf...y-for-leicester-city-defender-filip-benkovic/
It was a mistake linking us with Jozefzoon. The journalists got us (with Toney) and Stoke mixed up and tweeted that it was us interested and not Stoke.
I seem to recall that somewhere pre season or just after target this season was to finish in top 8! Had my first whisper from the tea ladies cat … apparently
BRISTOL CITY IN WELLS TALKS Bristol City are in talks with Burnley over the permanent signing of striker Nakhi Wells. If a price can be agreed, Wells’ loan spell with QPR will be cut short and he will be allowed to talk to Bristol City.
there was pre season games and also his pre history we don't all live in a bubble of work and CITY GAMES … The EFL covers games down to div 2
it is, a will be far more important after this season having made profits in the last few years. getting that right means we can now "splash a bit of cash" … danger is we do some of it now and when the summer comes find we are top heavy, need to offload and the process starts again! there was a five year plan and we coming to the end of that!
Get down the training ground and air your opinion there then, if you know better than the coaches. I’m sure they will listen to you.
why would I need to do that? my opinion doesn't need airing. I made a statement based on what I thought of the player [ which is pretty much what this and all forums/posts/threads where topics are banded about.] I qualified my comments with "never understood why they moved him on for a fee .. probably it was panic! FFP needed to balance the accounts or just didn't want to persevere" as has been said today [Wiz thread from Ashton] .. if the right offer comes along! maybe that was it and Peterbro will pay us some more if they move him along at a nice profit also ………..
Doubles bubbles Vydra and Wells this is gaining strong signals. That would be a cracking bit of business and Afobe to come back.
BREAKING NEWS Burnley have recalled Nahki Wells from his loan spell at QPR. We reported on Saturday that Bristol City and Nottingham Forest are in talks with Burnley over the permanent signing of the striker.
Bristol City have slapped a not-for-sale sign on Celtic target Niclas Eliasson. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/agent-reveals-bristol-city-stance-on-star-departure/
Naki Wells could be staying at Burnley as Vydra could be heading to Russia. Dyche will not let both leave a spanner in the works. Can see us scraping around and doing nothing come the end. Could not arrange a piss up in a Brewery.

Report: Burnley are refusing to pay £10m for January target https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/01/...e-refusing-to-pay-10m-for-top-january-target/
what pi$$e$ me off about stories like this is, these Premiership clubs will not think twice about spending double this amount on unheard of ‘foreign talent’ from all around Europe, yet when it comes to players coming from the Championshil they start baulkin at the asking price!
£10m is still inexpensive for a PL player , if I was city if I wouldn’t let him go now even for £10m, as it wouldn’t allow enough time to replace him, which in turn would put an end to any small hope we’d have of getting promoted , we’ll get £7m for him in the summer anyway,
