Talking points from today: 1 Sol’s miss up there with Warren Feeney/Fred Gounangbe 2 Murphy has lost his pace somewhere 3 Whyte is just average 4 Paterson is not a footballer 5 The ref should have sent off Meite and was overall useless and inexperienced; the first yellow for their lad sent off was harsh 6 The linesman got both offside goal incidents wrong 7 City have no cutting edge whatsoever 8 City should have won by a couple of goals and if they were still playing now it’d be 1-1
We got a draw playing a second string Reading side from the start, and going down to 10 men for the last quarter of an hour with kids brought on as subs. We should have won that at a canter instead of having to go through a replay. Paterson is no striker but he takes the pressure off Glatzel and probably worth his place for that. Murphy is a waste of space. Vaulks kept the midfield tempo up when Rallsy went off, but Pack effectively slowed it all down. Flint did OK at the back and going forward, but Bamba is way off the pace. Bacuna did a decent job instead of Pelts and provides width going forwards. Smithies is the best keeper we've got. BTW, with all the rumours of a flare up within the camp, does anyone else feel that Pelts has played his last game for City?
Personally, I think we should just call it quits on the rest of the season and play Reading home and away til May
Did this guy watch the same game as I did? Adams rang rings around him and bullied Ralls into allowing him to create Readings goal Off the pace and needs more time to get 100% fit
BTW, with all the rumours of a flare up within the camp, does anyone else feel that Pelts has played his last game for City? I've heard there was a huge spat between Pelts and "someone" at the club possibly over a renewed contract. The word was that he refused to go to Brum for the game last week and went straight home to his family in Liverpool. Noticeable that he wasn't in the squad again yesterday at Reading.
Sounds like some snowflake of a steward got upset by the usual Welsh v English chanting and reported Cardiff while ignoring his own fans. It was only a matter of time before this happened. Personally I don't like it taking into account our large number of English players and management but while opposition fans continue then we are unlikely to stop. Reading fans are usually pretty quiet with a very small "set list" so it was inevitable our volume from 2,000 vocal away fans would be considerably louder than theirs.
BBC now reporting 4 Cardiff fans, aged 15, 24, 16 and 21, arrested for" alleged racially aggravated abuse". All released under investigation. What? No Reading fans arrested? It will be interesting to hear the precise circumstances.
Dude I was there and it was a normal day at the office...... They used words like we did...... I'm not offended by being called a smelly Welsh cun. T........ Or a sheep shagging taff........ Words are meaningless and like the old poem goes and names can never hurt me. This could go very silly, because this kinda accusation can easy be made falsely but like the way things are done these days everyone is guilty until proven innocent..... Fk the pc mad lunatics world that we are expected to live in.
may I add that this is a trait that is used on a regular basis, slander and false accusations is rife in life. 1984.......correct yourself before you speak even if you believe in what your thinking
