The Gold Cup could be doing with Santini winning well today, if you cant beat Bristol De Mai at Cheltenham getting 2 pounds then forget about it. Drifting early today and 2/1 looks a very fair price, id expect good late money and him to go off 11/8 or 6/4 fav.

More interested in Gulfstream tonight but that Santini price looks worth a bet.

It looked bad didn't it? Maybe he thought the horse would quicken up to take the rail but he was just coming off the bridle IMHO and didn't get there in time. I don't think we'll see any of those in the Triumph Hurdle.

    cheltenham,1 15:

a good Quality contest, and not easy, with most arriving here in decent form, but the dark horse here could well be ON THE SLOPES.he was only half a length behind simply the Betts in third on their last clash, but is much better off at the weights today,so a Turnaround in form definitely possible.trainer is enjoying a very good Season too so far,so a bold Show very possible,at least e w..

I've gone for Jarvey's Plate e/w in the next - not easy off top weight but he does go well at Cheltenham. Didn't stay in the Feltham but back to his best trip here and he might grab a place at juicy odds.

this might well turn out to be a Carbon-copy finish between SPIRITOFTHEGAMES and warthog.theres virtually Nothing between them from their last Meeting, but a slight nod goes to the former, who could be well able to turn the form around, granted a strong pace to aim at.

Lorcan Williams can have a career as a stunt rider in Hollywood after the 155pm in Uttoxeter, video no doubt appearing on your social media feed any minute now. Great to hang on for 3rd.

    cheltenham,2 25: COTSWOLD CHASE

a terrific race in store, with a good mix of old and new Talent, and though BRISTOL DE MAI is still winless this Season, hes the class act here, and with no worrys on trip/Ground and track,he should give his usual honest running today.big shout,if resuming back to his best.

    donny,2 40:

this revolves largely around LADY BUTTONS and floressa,at least the market sees it so.LB is a mare,i really adore, and she loves this track,so i hope, she wins again today.

Decent performance from Santini after a thrilling battle with BDM and the rest nowhere. He isn't flashy but is a thorough stayer (reminds me a little of Synchronised) and should go close in the Gold Cup (despite the poor record of Cotswold Chase winners in the big one). I would have been thinking Grand National with him but that win today will probably put him up close to 170.
