Bewildered as to why my thread got merged. I can find no dictionary or thesaurus that shows any literal connection between 'annoying' and 'cringeworthy'.
You're probably right, Bri, but I've made some great memories, had some interesting adventures, and met some interesting people doing things like that.
How dare you enjoy yourself indulging in things you like. I suggest you employ bri as your life coach and watch any incentive or positive thoughts you have wilt away and die.
It makes me cringe when virtual nobodies are lauded as international superstars or big celebrities. Actual talent seems incidental ....
A few things irritate me. I of to stop myself from replying and pointing out the difference between of and have. Then of course their is the fact that people don’t know the difference between they’re, their and there. Another one is your and you’re. I want to say to them that your taking the piss.
..... then there’s lots of Facebook grammar. I “seen” it . No instead of know . Even - “A “ instead of “I”
Wrinkley old bewers and gadgies with tattoos. It really is the pits. Some of these old tarts showing a bit of drooping cleavage with tramp stamps all over the offending pendulous udder. Yuck
I find Trump both annoying and cringeworthy. There are times when he clearly doesn't understand the words coming out of his mouth. He says things that are so stupid and wrong that you wonder where to begin. Anybody who disagrees is put down with abuse and mockery by Trump and his bully boys. (I wonder what his user name is on RTG.)
Depends where the shopping trolley is. In a supermarket, what's the problem - seats have been designed in so kids take up less space in the aisles. That's considerate. Racing down the high street, pissed up, in a trolley at midnight is a different matter
