As I've mentioned before, I've got a soft spot for Michael Madgwicks yard, often to my expense! I havent bothered with his last few runners as I've been waiting for when he sends two out to Kempton in adjoining races. Tomorrow I'll be throwing a few quid on his two in an e/w double..
    7.30 - Marquisard 20/1
    8.00 - Margie's Choice 8/1
Seen him bag a few of these doubles over the years. Hopefully tomorrow's another.
    Good luck all.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Not for me Ron, I have enough losses of my own!

It's Lady Buttons Day again at Donny :emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0152-heart but unfortunately I won't be watching live as I have an inconvenient committee meeting to attend. I will be recording however and watching "as live" on my return!

Only doing my comp entries - good luck with all yours <ok>

Hi all...a top days days racing..2 bets for me today:

Cheltenham 2.25pm Bristol de Mai 5/2. An authoritative display should see his odds tumble for the gold cup. Conditions look ideal.

Doncaster 3.15pm Good Man Pat 8/1 each way. On an attractive looking mark and with a decent claimer taking further weight off has a big chance. Think he stays the trip.

Good luck to Top Ville Ben today who is a full brother to our fella and lines up for a big race. Exciting to see how he fares..

cant have Summerville Boy at all, he got the run of the race last time and I’d have William Henry finishing closer or ahead of him today.

if PP runs to last seasons effort then I can’t see anything outbattling him. Then we’ve got L’Ami!!!

L'Ami the enigma - might the ground be more to his liking today? Jacob needs to deliver him perfectly but I can see the others letting him get to the front 2 out then nailing him.

In the Great Yorkshire Chase I think Ravenhill Road could go well at a nice price. Won nicely at Haydock and the longer trip, with things happening a bit more slowly, seemed to suit. A couple of furlongs further today but to my mind he has always looked a stayer - not sure why Ellison never stepped him up but Sue Smith has done it now and it really looks his forte.

Santini for me in the Cotswold Chase. If it weren’t for his supposedly lacklustre Sandown performance in a race he still won anyway, he’d be evens at best today.

BDM never wins when I back him, so his supporters should be encouraged that I’m opposing him.

My only ante post bet Pilgrim. Obviously if he runs well today that will look quite an attractive bet. Has ran twice in the gold cup..finishing 7th and last year 3rd and in a year where there s no standout horse with a different prep I think he s in with a shout.

I get tips from the Henderson stable, usually about a dozen a week, they are not the best to be honest.
The only ones i take note of are the races they send one in when they have the favourite as theirs never wins if so.
Anyways, they sent one today and said it is direct from Henderson which is a first.

hi fellas! here are my first two for today:

    donny 12 20:

TWIN STAR is very interesting here.he was a very useful ex-flat horse for the balding Yard, and also for noel Williams already, and showed some aptitude for this game so far, running much better than his finishing Position might suggest last time out.so,on a workable mark,he should be competitive today.

    cheltenham,12 40:

not very original, but nicky Henderson does really well with his French Imports, especially with juveniles,so MONTE CRISTO is taken to make a Winning debut on These shores today.
