    I read some of it.
It's a journalist who wants us to remain in the EU telling us how we've ruined our lives and our economy by leaving.
You'll be surprised to hear that we've all heard this many, many times from a few of you guys on here. The country has heard it for the past nearly four years.
I'm not going to join in with the suck it up rhetoric but you really need to move on.
We are extremely lucky to live in a democracy but the price you pay for that is that you have to accept the majority decision, whether you agree with it or not.
Remain has lost so many times that it must be clear to everyone the direction we're heading.
I am relieved that we are doing this rather than opening the door to extremist parties as is happening around Europe.
The biggest problem with the EU is that they don't answer to anyone.
You would think that the rise in anti free movement factions in member states, the UK voting to leave and now Italy moving further to the right would have set alarm bells ringing in Brussels.

    It hasn't

    We're better off out, sorry.

Oddly enough, that's exactly what the people of Scotland think about westminster. And they're right, as far as Scotland is concerned. Scotland is not a region of england. It is a sovereign country in its own right who voted to remain, but its wishes have been ignored by the english establishment. It may well lead to the breakup of the UK.

You're in one of those coffee shops in Amsterdam aren't you. Apparently it doesn't just slur your speech.

Go up to Scotland, choose a pub, then make that declaration out loud. Make sure your will is in place first. Seriously, you'd be dead before you hit the floor.

Really not something you speak lightly about, and indeed, such is the feeling that you might even see the SRA reforming. Remember, the SRA is the only terrorist organisation ever to achieve its aims without anyone being killed or injured.

I don't know if there is a mechanism for Scotland to leave the union democratically if Johnson refuses to give you another vote. So it could lead to quite a lot of anger and frustration if the feelings are running as high as you suggest. I suspect Johnson is hoping for great things as a result of Brexit and so the prospect of staying in the union will become more attractive than being in the EU. Or perhaps, which is more likely, he couldn't give a sh!t.

The referendum wasn't a regional poll, it was a UK vote. Out won, and that's why we leave. What each regional vote was is of no consequence.

When did Scotland become a independent country then, and the fact they were stupid is the only reason no one was killed, they mailed bombs that failed to go off. <doh> and home made labels on acid saying massage oil. <whistle>
They even sent Alex Salmond bullets in the post <doh> he's one of your own thickos.

Which referendum? Brexit or the important one? :D

You missed the point I made. Scotland is a sovereign nation, but is being treated like a region. Oddly enough, this was echoed post Indyref2, when the leader of the Scottish Labour party resigned & announced that the Labour Party were treating Scotland and the Scottish Labour Party as a region of england. So even an enemy of Scotland (and she was!) acknowledged it.

Being Welsh, you should understand this position! :)

Please don't make a complete tit of yourself again.

When did Scotland become an independent country? Really?

And I have no idea what the other pish is that you're talking about, as it had nothing to do with the SRA.

The Brexit referendum, but your right, Scotland did have there once in a generation independence vote as well, and Boris being a gent will honour the outcome, not like the SNP who back the minority.
