Career stats of 51 goals in 214 games. Not bad but only 9 in the Championship, 5 last season and 4 so far this one.

Can play attacking midfield or forward. Similar to Bradley Dack but not so many goals. Do we need another Jack of all Trades - well 2 anyway?

If £500k is the fee that's not bad but nothing special.

Looking at the last paragraph I wonder who the Premier League player is and is he a striker. Any guesses? Personally I wouldn’t want to see Glatzel go unless he was replaced by a centre forward as we have few options here. Hopefully we can get someone in before the window closes.

WoL reports we, along with several other Championship clubs, have scouted Jonson Clarke-Harris at Bristol Rovers. Another big guy who prefers a route one game.

20 goals in 30 games for the Gas but didn't do much before apart from being Coventry's youngest ever league player at 16 years 20 days.

His game has dropped off a bit after returning from injury.

They apparently want £2m for him. Do they think we are that gullible? Answers on a post card....

If Galtzel were to go then I would prefer Kieffer Moore to this guy.

I'm no fan of Moore's but at least he has scored this season, unlike Madine. Madine was a waste of space and if the rumours about his off field behaviour are true then he had to go.

On the face of it there are not a lot of options out there. If Bremen are after Glatzel it is likely his agent has let it be known he is open to a move. Possibly not settled in Cardiff or can't adapt to the way we play.

In truth anyone we sign, on the money we can afford, is likely to be a gamble. Also we are not an attractive proposition for anyone decent to want to come, unless they have something they want to prove.

Josh Laurent, the lad from Shrewsbury we were rumoured to be looking at, is having a cracking game v Liverpool in the cup. All over midfield second half. Okay it's Liverpool's second 11 but should still be a cut above Shrewsbury.

Either Harris is keeping his cards close to his chest not wanting to reveal anything until a deal is done or there’s nothing in the offing.
