Manchester United lose 2-0 to Burnley - pundits and fans react Manchester United's latest defeat has seen the atmosphere turn "toxic" at Old Trafford, says former midfielder Darren Fletcher. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team were booed off the pitch after a 2-0 home defeat by Burnley left them six points off a Champions League spot. "The scenes in the stadium weren't good," said Fletcher, a five-time Premier League winner with United. "The chanting, the atmosphere really turned toxic for the first time." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51212537
I was born off Smithdown Rd, just in Toxteth. Then moved to Mossley Hill, then Gateacre, then Cheshire, and finally Shropshire. I am like a very slow moving Swallow gradually going south. What schools did you go to Tobes?
I went to St Anthony of Padua in Mossley Hill and then to SFX in Woolton mate. I ended up in a flat down Lark Lane, then I left and headed over to Yorkshire.
The #meltdown continues Apparently our form is impossible The podcast is at 10:30 here https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p080ps1t Man City are winning the xG, at some point people will start listening that Sterling is actually crap please log in to view this image
These computer simulations are interesting, if you like that sort of thing but ultimately real life takes over and we're winning at that
People don't understand xG. It doesn't mean we have 1 in 10,000 luck, it means our players are better than average.
Honestly, I don't understand most of it. I know we use computer generated simulations to help develop our game so I won't just write it off as useless. It's when it's used to 'prove' something that I have a problem with it. There's more value in it though than the cranks claiming the club is using a doping programme to keep the players fit.

False equivalence alert: "Klopp took over a good squad, granted, as did Guardiola at City." https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ster-united-tranmere-fa-cup-preview-solskjaer Klopp's first team: Mignolet, Moreno, Sakho, Skrtel, Clyne, Can, Leiva, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana, Origi Out of that basically one player (Milner) can expect regular starts these days, with Lallana and Origi playing sub roles. Guardiola's first team: Caballero, Sagna, Stones, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, Nolito, Aguero So basically over half the team is still the same. The biggest change is fullbacks which he's spent £200m on.
Going to be a stroll in the park now for Citeh. Ream sent off for Fulham for being a moron and dragging Jesus back, giving a pen away. What a bellend.
