http://www.goal.com/nl/news/547/premier-league/2011/09/21/2675658/sunderland-haalt-cissé-in-januari hope so his goal scoring record is top class if I am correct in saying he was the highest scorer in the league last season and has 5 in 6 or 6 in 5 for this season
if he does sign he won't play 'til February due to acon, 1 thing is for sure is that we do need a striker in January and wouldn't be surprised to see Owen come providing Man Utd stay injury free, would love Cisse though
Think he was second to Gomez from Bayern but he is certainly a player id love us to try and bring to the club.
I know nothing about him other than what I read on here - sadly don't really watch any other nation's footy other than us and occasional scottish game so I can;t comment. From what everyone on here says it's a yes from me... But I am relying on you lot!!
Only know about him from you tube and internet stats. Of course if looks a top striker and if we buy him top class but my concern would be for how long? Would he just use the club as a stepping stone to more money and a better club 6 months into life here? We can't keep looking for new strikers every 6 months. It's getting ridiculous.
Absolute bollocks this haha, providing things are going alrightish in January I would doubt we will get anyone in, but if the right man becomes available then the funds are there.
With Michael Owen saying he sees himself leaving Man u after this season to get more playing time I wouldn't mind us going for him, how about a 6 month loan in Jan and if he does the business give him a deal. I'm sure oshea and brown could twist his arm and add a glowing reference from welbeck, evans and sir alex and he may well come. I bet he'd like to score against the skunks too after the abuse they have given him since be departed the sportsdirect.com stadium
Shhhhhhh your still not getting it are you get out of the hole your digging lol As for Owen a loan deal sounds ok to me and if he is injured he can **** off if he scores goals we've done ok
I reckon this may be who Benno hinted towards like, and i hope it's true. Second to Gomez, playing in a poor side, is mightily impressive. He's the Senegalese Bent..
Jesus - nearly had a heart attack as I flash read this - somehow my mind registered "He's the Senegalese Gyan.."!!, <argh>
No No No No No, he couldn't score for them, what makes anyone think he could score against them..... Over paid, injury prone, over hyped has been.....Please don't forget the time he spent fleecing the Mags, while contributing **** all.
