Leeds Utd v Millwall Tuesday 28th January 2020 19.45pm | Elland Road Millwall are the visitors to Elland Road on Tuesday evening as the Whites look to put their disappointing start to the year behind them. Leeds currently sit in second place in the Championship, one point below West Brom and three points above 3rd place Fulham who have played an extra game. Lions Manager Gary Rowett has worked miracles with limited resources as his team from Bermondsey have clawed their way up to 8th place, just eight points behind the Whites. Bielsa will be without the services of Kalvin Phillips as he starts the first of a three match suspension for his red card he collected last weekend at Loftus Road. Ben White is likely to deputise with Gaetano Berardi deputising at centre back along side skipper Liam Cooper. The Swiss hard man has a point to prove with Millwall having been wrongly accused of fouling Tom Bradshaw in the box when the teams met last October. Not only did Bradshaw step up to put the penalty away, but Berardi got his marching orders and Leeds were down to 10 men for the majority of the game. Bamford will continue his lone role up front for the sole reason - there is nobody else!!! If, as expected, Manchester City winger Ian Paveda puts pen to paper, the 19yo will be available for selection. This will be good news for Leeds frail midfield who are still without Adam Forshaw, and fitness doubts with Jamie Shackleton.
Berardi was not wrongly accused of fouling Bradshaw he was wrongly sent off when a yellow card and the penalty would had been a just punishment for the ‘crime’ and it was Jed Wallace who put the penalty away. As for the game on Tuesday under Harris I would had been pleading for you to be gentle with us but under Rowett I can’t wait for the game. I fancy a draw but a last minute dodgy penalty to win it would make for a top night out
Going for 3-0 Leeds as we have a new set of wheels, go faster stripes and a rear spolier to speed away to the finishing line
Same old story. If we take our chances, Millwall could be in for a hiding. Could be anything. If we continue to miss every chance we create we will have to hope for a 0-0. The more likely scenario will be Millwall getting all 3 points with having one shot on target all game. Like I said, same old story.
Bradshaw should have received a 6 match ban for what he did - cheating cockney scum bag Morning Ringo
We have 2 massive games coming up against 2 of Yorkshires giants that will be very difficult games,,,,,,,,, Lucky for us we have a game against Leeds in between them
i.e the independent commission thought Bradshaw deceived the referee "the way the player fell to the ground was not consistent with any significant contact to the players right leg given that he planted his right foot in a usual manner after contact (if any) was made" if you go back you will find this is exactly what I said at the time.
Last season at Leeds unless you bring the bent ref in the minibus we will win. Let's hope no southern players fall over a blade of grass this time.
When you have the football authorities in your pocket like Leeds do they will manipulate the facts in your favour All said and done some are given some are not.
I'll tell you who is a neat and tidy footballer who could do a decent job as a holding midfielder. A certain Eunan O Kane. Instead the poor fecker is running round a field on his own.
You're having a larf mate, football authorities in our pocket!! We don't have a board member who gets us off all the racist charges do we
Wouldn't it be good if the new kid comes on sub and scores the winner, he's from South London, very close to Millwall. Southwark.
I can't believe he's still at the club Another player who got the **** from 606ers and other social forums..
As it stands were 2nd, havent sold any of our best players, bought a promising lad, no other club has done any jawdropping deal, Yet some are rolling up there sleeves and sharpening their razors, MOT
Actually it's two we've brought in. It's the usual sleeves that are being rolled up, I'm hoping they do the honourable thing with their razors at the end of the season.
