United fans being classy last night... chants along the lines of 'woodward is gonna die'.... Sunderland fans are a disease, have unrealistic expectations are poor fans leaving early.... but poor Man United fans are just frustrated and disappointed, it hurst because other teams are winning stuff because by divine right they should be winning everything... yes they won a hatfull of trophies and now they aren't... tough.

No doubt about the first part. Lots of rubbish gets spouted about performance being more important than results but more often than not the result defines the performance

Meh, it's a tough league this year. Yes a lot of the "top" teams are underperforming relatively, but a lot of the "lesser" teams have played some really good stuff too. Only Norwich who really look like being cut adrift, the rest have all looked very good in patches.

I laughed when he first got the job, was surprised when he went on his winning run, but now he is where I expected him to be. Every press conference he looks like a rabbit in the headlights. Its too big for him. They are not going to sign anyone decent for a few windows or until he leaves. If we were not in league 1 I would have a bit more weight with my wind ups to my Utd friends and colleagues.

They do. It was made public that he would lose any compensation if he went to another PL club this season.

Given that it will be equal to or less than compensation for him were he employed, and the wealth of the club, there’s no way that’s a barrier to United.
