    Another random match...

Safc 1-2 Port Vale in some cup, possibly Simod.
The dozen Port Vale fans were in the seats Mainstand Fulwell wing. Circa 1989

Maldini's son had his AC debut tonight, he's an attacking midfielder apparently he must get it from his mum.

Great debut goal from the new Spurs player, chested it down and volleyed it into the corner before it bounced, playground stuff. Looks a talent. Can't say I'm sorry to see City struggling they're not my favourite team.

Manchester United have taken £30m off their asking price for France midfielder Paul Pogba, 26, who will be allowed to leave for £150m. (Sun)

Taken 30 mil off, they only paid 90 didn't they? Asking 60 mil would be fair considering how mediocre he's been at Utd and the ongoing questions about his attitude.

I'm baffled as to why they thought it was reasonable to demand double what they paid for him when he's not performed and the team has done ****e since he's been there.

Maybe it's all about shirt sales etc but it's sad if that's what football has become. Pogba is barely any better than M'Vila but he's got the media buzz.

To be fair, not many (if any) 'keepers would have saved that, mind, Kangy . . . . that was a fantastic shot :emoticon-0148-yes:

It was the late swerve that got him. Fairly audacious to have a crack from there so i'm guessing the keeper didn't even see it coming for the first 20 meters

I remember when we were linked with him and it was a legitimate link that was feasible at the time.

    We'll get back there.

Likely he will be at Old Trafford next season, then. Real Madrid are not stupid unlike some PL clubs spending vastly inflated fees for average players - Stones and Maguire, for example.

Well if UEFA hold their nerve about FFP and win and then persue other miscreants, football might, just might, get its sanity back, but I'm not holding my breath.
