    Anxious wait on Cedric now. Injuries were inevitable I guess and better RB than the other side at the moment. I cant help feeling the board would be very short sighted to try and get through this window without strengthening.

    They have an option to extend until the end of the MLS season, so I would guess Sims is finished here.

    I'd be surprised if he played for us again tbh, he'll be 23 when he returns and if he hasn't managed to get into the squad by now I doubt he will. To put it into context he will be 2 years older than Djenepo and only 3 younger than Boufal/Redmond when he returns. 23 for a footballer I wouldn't class as young.

    Similar to Reed, I think it is best for their careers if they move on and find a permanent home rather than these constant loans into their mid 20s

    Although Djenepo has played more first team football and is the more experienced of the two.

    Djenepo and Sims are actually 2 very similar players in my mind.

    Both fast, skillful on the ball and can either go out the outside to cross or cut ondide to shoot. Same weaknesses in being lightweight and not as aggressive in winning the ball. Both have ended up with the same role for us too, squad players with occasional great matches. All djenepo needs to become sims is a season ending injury and a change of manager.



    I do agree though if we dont lose some wingers in the summer he's unlikely to play for us again.

    Southampton have rejected a third offer from Leeds for Che Adams. Deal understood to be sizeable loan fee with option to buy for £20m if promoted.

    he had some brilliant touches against Leicester
    He just needs to get a goal for saints maybe against spurs on Saturday even
    I want Leeds to get promoted - i think they have suffered long enough but i dont see this loan to permanent move (if promoted) works for saints.
    we might get some injuries etc. If they were offereng £20m unconditional sale now then maybe but their not
