I would say that Hojbjerg gives the ball away and concedes far more free kicks than Romeu, who is far tidier and positionally aware. However it is in his nature to slow the game down and control it which does not fit the fast front to back style that we are currently attempting. I don't think there is anything wrong with Romeu he is just not suited to our current tactics.

 

Its a shame to think that he can't adapt to tactical approaches and only able to play one particular way though. Not a quality I would want to see in any field.

 

Not going to trawl through the pages . Is there any real talk of bringing players in ?

Has anyone signed anyone? Off the top of my head can only think of 3 signings. Minamino to Liverpool, Fernandes to Spurs and Rodwell to Sheff U

Sammatta £10M to Villa. But very little movement. I'm not expecting us to get anyone in the door, but rather hoping some of the loans confirm their happiness elsewhere.

Seems pretty clear we wont sing anyone this january due to improved form. Some will be annoyed but can all agree it is better to be like this than having to buy as we are sat rock bottom

 

If we don't need to buy, better to get the right players in the summer.

 

Or to leave it again over the summer, cos you know what, we did ok last season.

We've been rinse and repeat if this cycle for 4 years.

Although I wouldn't buy now unless it's someone we actually want.
