If they sold him to Leeds, it would be up there in the top 5 of the top 20 ****ish things they have done to the club and supporters.
Have you even bothered reading the article? Says nothing about Leeds or loans or cut price deals. The gist is more stating that it's likely we'll cash in as his value will only fall, even if we double his money and add a year to his contract, and how a life-changing move could be playing on his mind and affecting his form. The recent signings would point to long and short term cover and that the club is probably right to do this. IMO he'll go in this window, on a permanent, to a lower half PL club for £15-20m.
Cryptic as in full of **** and getting people to listen to his **** show by pretending he has insider knowledge that’s been proven time and time again he knows **** all??
Back to back defeats not helped the cause for him staying , the further away the playoffs seem , you can’t blame them for cashing in at maximum value unfortunately
“I was pleased to get the deal done and over the line. Mallik is going to be a top player – he really is. “He’s going to add a different dimension to us with his physicality, pace and directness. He’s still young and got a lot to learn but he’s a player that can make a big impact in games because of his raw pace and physical attributes. “Mallik is coming here to work hard and prove a point – and we like that. I just think he needs the right guidance and the right support. “We gave him that at Doncaster last year and he excelled, so we’re hoping to try and do the same with him here at Hull City so that he can excel with us in the Championship.”
I think... We’ll cash in on Bowen this window, realistically we aren’t a top 6 side. We aren’t good enough to put a consistant run together to get us there. Even if we do we aren’t good enough to play on the pl and unless the allams sell they won’t invest enough to keep us there. So I suspect we’ll sell Bowen for £20 million, pay offf maybe £10 million off the debt and pick up 2 or 3 young players from pl clubs.
Don't know if already mentioned about Bowen's agents, apologies if so! Yikes, Chapman and the Allams, can't help feel there'll be no love lost there. Daily Mail - Newcastle's pursuit of in-demand striker Jarrod Bowen given a timely boost... as Hull star's representative is long-time associate of Steve Bruce. "Newcastle United's chances of signing £15million Hull City striker Jarrod Bowen have been boosted by Steve Bruce's long-time associate Peter Chapman gaining a new key role in the player's future. Clubs interested in signing Bowen have been told that Chapman will be Bowen's representative in any discussions, instead of his regular long-time agents. Chapman was instrumental in Bruce being appointed manager of Hull in 2012 in his role as the club's honorary president and is perfectly placed to act as a conduit between Newcastle and Hull owners Assem and Ehab Allam. Bruce pulled out of the running for Bowen in the summer transfer window because of Hull's £20m asking price but a deal could be back on with Chapman involved. When Bruce resigned from Hull in 2016, he said: 'Special appreciation goes to honorary president Peter Chapman, who played a part in bringing me to the club in 2012. He's worked tirelessly over the last four years and I'm thoroughly thankful."
Chapman was the main reason Brucey got sanity out of the Allams, probably one the main reasons for success at the club. It’s a shame he’s not here any more.
I personally think he'll still go to Leicester... Perez hasn't been a success and neither has Harvey Barnes. Beyond Vardy who's scoring their goals. Ienacho only seems to be a substitute forward. After the loss to Burnely yesterday I think it may force their hand and if Newcastle do make an offer, I think Leicester may well gazump it. From Bowens perspective, the class of player at Leicester would be a significant step up on Newcastle and the chance of European football. We have a history with Leicester too.
It really wouldn’t In their ****ishness league it would be way down the table...although to be fair it’s a ****ing strong league!
So honest opinions, who thinks Bowen is actually good enough for the prem? I'm not convinced at all, good at championship level but the prem, as we all know is a different level
