as someone who supports a Championship club, so has no axe to grind with either team, I’m not sure VVD did much wrong to be honest and imho the goal should have stood. It’s not his fault De he’s isn’t strong enough to hold onto the ball
Ive rewatched it several times now and vvd does nothing wrong whatsoever. But keepers always get that call these days.
I was disappointed, but not at all surprised that it was disallowed. Virgil didn't do anything wrong, he had eyes for the ball only, and up against any outfield player there's no problem with that challenge. However, rightly or wrongly, it seems any challenge on a keeper is deemed a foul these days, so it was at least consistent in that respect.
Anyone else notice the significance in James being on the floor next to Salah as he scored. Also ...... Usain Bolt: I'm the fastest man in the world. Alisson: hold my gloves.
Liverpool are the first team for over a decade to keep 7 successive PL clean sheets - the best run since Man Utd’s PL record 14 successive games without conceding from Nov 2008-Feb 2009
Weird how PGMOL decided that Van Dijk was a foul against De Gea yesterday but this was allowed to stand:
