yes it is . If you have never had / cared for pets , you would not understand .

Having to make the decision to have a pet put to sleep is very very difficult and unless you have had to do it , you will never understand .

Had to do it a few times and never had a seconds hesitation, can't stand to see an animal suffer.
That said, i have spent weeks after wondering/hoping that they had a good and happy life and questioning if i could have made it better in some way.

All my dogs have been like children to me.

So you jump in 2 footed? And go all defensive from the off.

    I've had Rotties with Parvol
've had a cat Samsom (same sunderland mascot(

But i've also splattered so many dogs, i'm not that bothered.

To me now, they are just animals....

Hardest part of saying goodbye to Toby was Mrs j was not with me so I had to make the decision on my own . I knew it was the right one , but his loss was such a shock it’s still difficult to come to terms with .

    There really is.
There is also a substantial body of evidence to suggest that there are many, many idiots, who continue to deny what is happening right in front of them. That doesn't mean it's not happening.

No, there isn't, there's supposition and hypothesis, and plenty of circumstantial, but no definitive proof, you can argue against that as much as you want, but go ask any self-respecting pro climate change scientist and they will say no, there's no definitive proof because we cannot accurately state why the Earth's has gone through so many climatic changes pre-humanity appearing, and we don't have a control subject to make a valis comparison.
For me, personally, it's been obvious for decades that we've ecologically ****ed ourselves, you Johnny-come-latelys are late to the argument but, even though the evidence is even stronger, it's still not definite proof.

In all honesty, anyone who thinks we're getting out of the mess we've created are the people who are in denial, 'if we all do this we can save the planet', but do you actually consider the people a few thousand miles away who are more concerned with not watching their kids starve to death tomorrow than what may happen in 10-20 years because of what they're doing? Or that a government is going to, willingly and with aforethough, bankrupt their country and destroy it's economy, put themselves in such a weakened position that their neighbours can land-grab with impunity, or create such conditions that civil unrest will break-out and they'll all get hung? Few people bother really considering these things because it's beyond their scope of vision.

there is one answer, and I always wonder if someone has decided it's time to put it into action whenever I hear a new disease warning.
