Over on the other place. I feel very liberated now. I might go back and browse once in a while but that’s about it.
Culmination of a few things. Don’t really know if I’m honest. I just think there was no respect for anyone or anything.
That's a relief, thought for a minute, you meant on here, you new posters have added greatly to this board, long may it continue.
Im still on over there. Dont post much but do read a lot of the threads. Tend not to get embroiled in the squabbles though. Some of it really is embarrassing and any opposing fans who read it must think we are a queer bunch of bastards!!
I still post on there every now and again, but this forum is the one I have been a part of since BBC 606 ceased to exist.
There are too many entrenched nit picking doom merchants who spoil the atmosphere. Even after three wins there are people raging about every aspect of the club. There's one clown, Phil, who goes on any takeover thread to post that he'll believe it when he sees it and how everyone should wait and see. He posts that five times a day yet is straight on anyone who fails to obey his instructions. And that's the problem over there, as Krankie points out, opinions aren't respected .... .... they're something to be automatically and repetitively attacked.
I still post on there occassionally but it gets bloody tiresome with the same doom merchants time after time. They seem very keen to criticise others for not agreeing with their opinions, but at the same time dismiss any that may be different to theirs.
Occasionally on there I get the urge to reply to comments but don’t, as I think can’t be arsed to get involved in an argument. As 90% of all threads do, about daft little things, it’s quite pathetic. I do post on the F1 thread as never an argument, some debate but accepted that opinions can vary
What people describe about not bothering to post is part of the problem. The negative clique are relentless and support each other so grind people down. That's lead to an imbalance and a tendency for the board to be pessimistic. I believe the 'fanzine letter to Donald' was partially influenced by RTG which certainly doesn't reflect the mood of the people I was with at MK.
shut the **** up man you moron, course it didn’t reflect it..... An example from RTG above. An example from 606 below. Yeh possibly, hard to tell as loads of fans don’t go on there
how Jimmy lad, did you enjoy your trip back? I must have missed your trip advisor post on England's hidden gem
