Just reading City have offered Bowen a new contract with his salary doubled and quadrupled if we're promoted.
Dwight Gayle allowed to go on loan to a championship club, at first i thought the loan could be used as part of a deal for Bowen. Then I read further down that the championship club would have to pay his 60kpw wages. So that’s killed my initial thought but as I’ve typed this much I may aswell post a link https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...130120&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1578950429
Hate to say it but the White ****e should sign him, it would guarantee promotion and the investment is nothing compared to the rewards. Actually Fulham should come to think of it to beat out the Scum! He scores for fun at this level. Maybe this is also a lesson of how some may view Bowen's ability to step up - although how anyone can have a crystal ball god knows.
Victor Moses has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan. Almeria are set to complete a permanent move for Birmingham City midfielder Fran Villalba. Wolves are in advanced talks with Olympiacos over a £21m deal for Daniel Podence. Jonathan Kodjia has left Aston Villa to join Qatari side Al-Gharafa. West Ham goalkeeper Roberto has joined Alaves on loan until the end of the season. Swansea City winger Kristoffer Peterson has joined Utrecht on loan.
They've got Mbwana Samatta joinging from Genk this week. Kodjia's out of contract at the end of the season and had been told he was being released, so he asked to leave immediately, he hasn't started a league game this season, so I doubt they'll miss him.
If it is true that the new contract we offered him is double the relatively low amount he gets then the only conclusion is that the much publicised business genius (though it is them describing themselves as such) of our owners is somewhat exaggerated. And, anyone harbouring thoughts about their ambitions for getting to the PL any time soon is indulging in a bit of wishful thinking.
Still he’s come on 9 times and scored twice. Not bad stats for a sub in a team that struggles for goals. His goals per minutes played was the best at the club. 113 minutes played 2 goals scored - 57 minutes per goal. Game changer.
That's completely misleading, the two goals he scored were in the only (cup)game he started and it was the 5-0 stuffing of Liverpool's U23's.
