You started well, better side for 20 minutes on top at the end, the middle 60 mins we bossed Rudd didn't have a shot to save and BFG didn't celebrate and the defending for the second was woeful, get players back you should be Ok
Well, if Bowyer is sacked at least you'll be happy. Let's throw away a young manager learning his trade, a professional and plain spoken manager (not a clown or a gobshite), a manager who genuinely wants to do his best for Charlton Athletic, a guy who just might become as great in his time as Lennie Lawrence or Alan Curbishley, and replace him with... Erm, somebody else. Johnnie Jackson maybe (God help him), or one of the out-of-work journeyman gaffers on the 'failed-and-available' merry-go-round. That'll do the trick.
was nowhere near drunk enough for that game, first half was alright, second half a bit ****. Hemed and Davison up front ain’t a good combination
Pratley and Williams both poor. Pratley is definitely a big game player, Williams still trying to come back from injury. Sarr had a solid game, best player imo
Thanks for the thoughtful message. I wouldn't have minded if Bauer had celebrated, he's your player now and he is a thorough professional. His like is badly missed here.
Evening chaps Not going to come on here to gloat, you have enough of your own doing that. Instead, I'll try and cheer you up with a quick summary of our game. We won 2-0. Early in the week I was fearing the worsed as our midfield looked a bit light through injuries and suspensions, but thankfully we got a loan deal over.the line just in time, and very impressed I was with him. Seems it took less than 2 days from initial contact, offer accepted, medical and signed (easy as that)
My bad, thought this was the thread you tagged me in a few hours ago - thought you did that to get a response
Excellent post. Hopefully Bowyer, Jackson and Gallen can excel once we ride this storm and stay up. Let us get this out of the way then crack on in the summer.
