i think the ref thought Stephens got the ball or might have and VAR simply said he didnt.

Interesting VAR call there. Undoubtedly a bad lunge by Stephens but Cedric already had the ball. No idea how you call that except I'd have wanted a pen.

I'd actually argue that its exactly the sort of decision VAR is good for. Ref couldnt see it very well, so he had help
