    The premiership rugby system isnt perfect but provides some control, though saracens have tested it to beyond the limit. Analagous to the situation with clubs 'selling' their grounds.

    Couldnt follow the welsh regional model as there are all sorts of variations with international players having central contracts.

    The NFL model is a bit different and wouldnt work though is probably less of an issue as its a closed shop with no relegation.

    Something needs to be done though.
