I know Bowen is unlikely to happen but he is exactly the sort of player I think we need.

That deal is due to expire at the end of this season but Hull can trigger an additional 12 months at any stage before March.

Well not quite like a flash, as come 31st us fans will be fuming that Messi ended up with Derby,Ronaldo with Millwall :emoticon-0105-wink: and as they didn't get Nketia, Bristol persued kane and just got him before deadline, meanwhile Radz & Orta are kicking themselves as they now realise they couldn't get them for £4995.95 pw,but have advised the fans they won't make the same mistake again for the 2020/21 season :emoticon-0112-wonde <wah>

Time to read back. It was you & Eire that brought up '35 first team squad members'. Doc quoted Bielsa, who spoke only of "working with 35 players for the last month". No mention of the makeup of this group. No mention of first team squad.

And yet you attacked the Doc for the quote! Why?

Gotta love January. It’s that time of year where:
    - the clubs form always dips
    - we have regular false hopes and disappointments in the transfer window
    - due to the above 2 points... the happy clappy and cynic camps on not606 are at their most fractious <laugh><laugh><laugh>

If there are indeed a bunch of happy clappies and cynics then I have a question. I can understand the happy clappies and their support the club but why if everything the club does, the manager says or how the players perform is criticised and ridiculed by the cynical group then why do they?

Oh I recognise the right of everybody to have their say and I have no truck with that but what type of pleasure do the cynics get from their continual flagellation. They offer no suggestions of their own, develop no logical argument and put forward no justification of their views. All they do is get on their soap box and spout. It is as if their lives are so shallow and empty that they have to try and extinguish any hope, expectation, joy or happiness that anybody else has in supporting Leeds.

I would like a couple of signing, who wouldn't if they are what we need to get promoted but really some of the negative posts on here are stupid. Having read posts on a few of the other boards there are some who are pleased, some or concerned but generally most supporters do just that. Not Leeds, we rip our management to threads, blame them for everything from the big bang to potential bankruptcy, not signing the greatest players on the planet and not flaunting the rules of the EFL, and yet we are second in the league?

I could go on but I will refrain. There are 19 games left get behind the team and don't be a brick in the road.

Yes this is aimed at you, you know who you are.

Eric you are in my opinion one of the best posters on here. I generally agree with most of what you post.

Seriously though, that post is a patronising diatribe.

To suggest that one side of the debate offers no facts just negativity whereas the others are just supporting the club. You can just as easily make a case for one side being realists and the other a bunch of dewy-eyed sycophants.

personally I find some of the naive lap dogging as annoying as the over the top over-reactions to a loss or dip in form.

We’ve spent 15 years in the wrong division(s) it’s hardly surprising that there’s a sense of impending doom among many.

It’s a forum for opinion for fck sake.

    nor should they fella

Not many people have an inside track to the club so they form their opinions based on what they see/perceive. I doubt many that post on here have an inside track to the club’s finances. I sure as hell don’t!

Take the point on Running a club to EFL guidelines. I completely agree that the club should be run sensibly and within the rules. But given radz and orta have been responsible for spend/wages/finances for 2 and 1/2 years I think if we are hamstrung by league guidelines on profitability, it’s a reasonable enough question to ask why?
