Ian Stringer has just posted on twitter that Jeffrey Bruma is signing on loan and Jack Hobbs is signing for Celtic on loan Not happy with that. Why replace good players which are ours with loans please log in to view this image
That Cov fan wont be back, after realising some of our players are internationals and we alot higher in the table then them, he gone back to bed. Dont forget to sign on later mate
I cant say im overly happy about this decision: hyperthetical situation - LCFC dont get promoted, all loan players return to there clubs and dont sign for us because they want premiership football (call it Curtis Davies syndrome) which will leave us with a half empty first 11 and players like Hobbs who hand in transfer requests!
Hmmm...I'm not sure this is the wisest move. Once Jack's gone to Celtic I think we have to accept that it's highly unlikely that we'll ever see him in a Leicester shirt again and that'd be a great shame. If he was off on loan to another champo club or any other Scottish club I wouldn't be so worried, but Celtic don't just loan players from the English second tier for no reason. Along with Bamba he's the only CB we own and I'm guessing Celtic are loaning him with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer. He hasn't had the best of seasons, but he's young enough to still make a very decent player yet and it's a shame to see him go
Why dont we send back Vitor as he is always injured and isnt as good as Hobbs and then keep Hobbs. Mee has had a mixed start and come the play-offs if we get their we will need Jack Hobbs because last season he was a rock in the play-offs. We need someone keeping Bamba on his toes.
I have to agree with those saying he should say. I'm a but gutted tbh. He would have been a future legend IMO.
I wouldn't worry about it lads, players can't go from England to the SPL in the emergency loan window, so this story's bollocks.
Interesting - i had no idea! But this will make Celtic a laughing stock - havent they already failed with 2 transfers this January because they didnt adhere to the rule book?
Ian Stringer has now confirmed this to be true - so Originallambrettaman is spot on. Stringer goes on to say that after speaking with Sven - Hobbs may still go out on loan in England
There was a rumour here in Hull that we were in for Hobbs, but the new rumour is that Boyata has been at the training ground this week. Sounds too good to be true, but you never know.
Hobbs to celtic is good allround, he will get confidence back. SVEN LIKES PLAYERS WHO ARE COMFORTABLE ON THE BALL AND GOOD DISTRIBUTORS OF THE BALL, HOBBS ISNT AT MOMENT . tHINK IN TIME HE MAY BE THOUGH, TROUBLE IS SVEN AINT GOT TIME!. oNLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME IS IF SVEN GOES IT ALL FALLS APART BECAUSE MOST OF CURRENT FIRST TEAM ARE ONLY HERE BECAUSE OF SVEN AND THE OUTSIDE CHANCE OF PREMERIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL IN NEAR FUTURE (HOPEFULLY!)
Dont want Hobbs to go the Hull as i could see him wanting to stay. I would rather he went to someone like Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Portsmouth. A big team but not going to threaten our position and they wont be able to buy him if they wanted to
Totally agree. If he goes to Hull n does well, I can see him wanting to stay there. If that happens I for one would be bloody furious with Sven!
I can't see Hobbs coming to us unless it's with a view to a permanent in the summer. You apparently want him to be guaranteed first team football and as we have a great partnership in Gerrard and Chester it's not going to be broken up just to allow him in.
