If we had sold Eriksen in the Summer we could easily have got £70m for him. But, for what ever reason, the club held on to him and allowed him to run down his contract even further, meaning that Levy will be held to ransom by Inter (given the Eriksen has agreed terms with them).

Did Levy believe that Eriksen might change his mind with the appointment of Mourhino?

I am one of the few Spurs fans who have never fully rated Eriksen. Even when we were at our best under Poch, Eriksen was too inconsistent. Me and my eldest always took the piss whenever Eriksen took corners or free kicks, because he was crap at them. I never understood why the club persisted with him.

Like Spurly, I will be glad to see the back of him.
