What a complete nonsense! FA showing complete disrespect for their own cup! How are fans able to plan a trip to Tranmere or Watford for the 4th round? How are we expected to play 4 matches in a week? How does the club safely distribute 20k tickets in advance? I can't believe either club agreed with this timetable.
Tranmere played with knowledge of this weeks weather forecast a ladies fixture on the pitch on Sunday. They should be charged with misconduct or perhaps it was a ploy on their behalf hoping the replay would be televised?
I presume the 4th round will have to be moved as there will no time to arrange tickets etc. Partucuarly with the reward being Wolves or Man U who will sell out whoever they get. IF we got through with our kids and fringe players the team would probably be stronger for that 4th round tie.

There has been a lot said, especially by the Tranmere fans, about their pitch, some of it very wrong indeed. The owners have put out a statement tonight about the problems with it. It makes interesting reading, and we know from the days of Bassini that to do a proper job is not cheap. Plus new guy. Tbh Gray and Success should play and be told to perform! Our attacking play 2nd half was non existent - compare that to the games against Villa with 10 men and Sunday. Had we kept Chalobah fit and Quina stayed on we would have had that bite and desire to keep going. Moments of sloppy play cost us and encouraged Tranmere and lack of experience told.
The midweek EPL games are there because of the mid season break coming up after the Brighton game in February

He will play the normal team in the first team squad and the Reserves/kids in the replay as he would have done tonight. There was footage of them getting the coach earlier and it looked like only Gray and Chalobah were on it.
Big Nige has already made some comments about the cup not being a priortiy given our situation. I don't expect that to chage any time soon.
