Not sure how I feel about this now. Two managers have preferred Aurier to KWP... and Aurier is an catastrophe waiting to happen!
He still cant cross for toffees. I remember when we first signed him a fan at his former club said he was ok just couldn't cross. Not improved that part of his game in the time he's been here
I was rather expecting to wake up this morning with my quote about pissing myself on the 1820 from Waterloo to be fully stuck on it's own thread, just under the Green Tax thread.
Sounds better than my attempt to get home by train! Train from Eastleigh to Southampton gets hit by a tree while I'm waiting for it. I decide to jump on the pompey train to go via fareham. Then when I get to fareham its gets announced a tree has just fallen on the line between fareham and Southampton! I gathered a few people to taxi share but then it was announced there would be a replacement bus going the route in 20 minutes for free so the others decided to take that. I didnt want to pay the full fare myself so waited for it too. Naturally it took 40 minutes to arrive and another 20 to set off and took a really long route around. 3 hours it took to get home! Honestly, it was like Saints' attempts at trying to sign a player! (now it's on topic )
Good to listen to a positive discussion about Saints on Sky. Talked about how honest and open Ralph is and praised how he has turned the team round. Mentioned we are interested in Walker-Peters and Joe Bryan... and Che Adams will not be leaving as he is in Ralph's plans.
After Wright-Phillips and Ward-Prowse, Walker-Peters would be our third W-P double-barreller. For this reason, we should probably try and sign him.
With our recent recruitment history though we'll probably end up with Wright-Pratt.... EDIT: or Wreally-Pants
Listening to Ralphs press conference, doesn’t sound like any signings coming in. Mentioned that due to recent form that signings are not necessary, just as a few of you on here thought would happen. Also said Valery back a lot quicker than thought and now Vokins is a lot closer to being a replacement for Bertrand than originally thought. Changed the tune since last weeks press conference.
