please log in to view this image Liverpool Ladies team are using the pitch for their home games, and the match they had Sunday had to be postponed because despite work on it it was waterlogged. There are covers on it to prevent the heavy rain that is falling up there this morning making matters worse, but that will not improve matters beneath them. The locals are still far from sure the game will take place.
So supporters will already be on their way or in the area. Not the best option but I think the match has to be played almost regardless of the conditions. Very interested to see the team news. After the 1st match it was clear we needed one extra pair of experienced legs out there.

No official confirmation yet, but this suggests that unsurprisingly, tonight's game is off. @TranmereRovers : Tonight's @EmiratesFACup game against @WatfordFC has been postponed. onight's Emirates FA Cup third round replay against Tranmere Rovers has been postponed, following heavy rainfall from Storm Brendan at Prenton Park since Sunday. Both clubs were in regular contact with each other, the referee and the Football Association over the past two days, discussing the options available. However, following a pitch inspection this afternoon, the referee decided the match unfortunately could not go ahead. The date for the rescheduled match will follow as soon as possible.
That is going to provide some fixture congestion - the only option I can see is playing the game on the day the 4th round is due to be played and then moving that fixture out - if possible. Not sure if there is a precedent for this...
Have to be played this week or on 4th round weekend. If Wolves win their replay the 4th round tie could be played the week of 27th Jan but Man U have a League Cup semi that mid week so that wouldn't work if they won.
