so maybe looking at alternative loanees that can add something to the team and return those that haven't hit the heights we expected.
I think.Shankland would be a decent prospect. Saw him play a lot a couple of seasons ago when he was a raw prospecr, and he's rapidly improved since then. Problem we have is there are other clubs looking at him too, although he'd probably get more game time with us than some of the "bigger" clubs mentioned so far
And you know this how, ITK, Guesswork, paper talk, please enlighten us, not a wind up am genuinely interested in source.
The boy Clarke is coming in on loan from Spurs apparently. edit- I should read back a bit before posting.
Beggars belief to me that we are signing a lad who plays in the position we are probably already at our strongest at!
Who knows? Maybe Eze is off. Maybe it frees him up to play centrally. Maybe Clarke is versatile enough to compete with Manning. Don’t know much about him at all.
This is QPR in a nutshell over the last 8 or so years. Every man and his dog can see where we need to strengthen. But somehow we seem to make additions where we already have decent players. If we are all missing something because we're not insiders and not experts, and then the team goes and has great success despite our concerns, I'm sure we'd all happily admit we were wrong. But we're continually proven right instead.
Yeah because you would have seen my post last week saying it. from the short bit of info I read it said he is going to be a good player. Hopefully a Walker and not a Smith.

On various news sources now. Can only mean Eze to Spurs otherwise totally pointless use of loan market. Must be a goalie kicking around who needs to play games. Would prefer to give Masterton a run before getting a CB on loan
If we are to make an approach for Shankland, I'd reckon his price has just gone up as his strike partner is out for the rest of the season with a broken ankle. Dundee Utd are 17 points clear at the top of the Championship though....
I guess a lot will also depend on how long he has left on his contract, and more importantly whether he fancies coming to West London.
He was sent back from Leeds as he wasn't getting enough game time, that would suggest he'll be a 1st choice if he comes to us. One of Chair, Eze or BOS would have to make way...
