Eagles have been awful. So many missed tackles in big plays

The Seahawks did enough to scrape past the Eagles yesterday but they are going to face much stiffer opposition at Green Bay. Only have to beat the Cheeseheads before meeting (probably) the 49ers again.

I was sorry to see the Saints go out and shocked that the Patriots lost, they were my two predictions for the Superbowl! As much as I'd love to see the Seahawks in the final my new prediction is 49ers vs Ravens and Baltimore to win. Obviously, based on my skills at predicting results, I won't be putting any money on it!

    Russell Wilson though, ooof!!!!!!

Feeling pretty optimistic about the Vikings chances tonight, which is usually a pretty good sign they are about to get battered and play terribly

    It's all your fault!!!!

But you'll often find it when a team plays lights out one week, the following week they can't reach the same heights because they'll have mentally and physically exhausted themselves the previous week. You get it in the FA Cup often.

Yeah the D is knackered, think that is pretty obvious. Doesn't help that they have like 5 first downs because Cousins is playing terribly and the D has been on the field for most of the game.

But yeah classic Vikings really, not turning up at all, probably all out celebrating like they won the Superbowl after just winning one play off game. Similar to a couple of years ago when the Minnesota Miracle happened.

Eh, at least it's not as bad as the Eagles game....

And it doesn't help with people like Sherrells fumbling a return, and the play calling has been a bit iffy, why does Cousins keep throwing it to Cook? Oh well, we can only rebuild and come back next year, with hopefully a better o-line and a more consistent defence.

Yeah this team will be dismantled a bit now, too many players who will want paying. Rhodes is surely gone as he earns a fortune and his level of play has dropped off a cliff.

Can see them going corner in the first round for the 3rd time in 5 years which shows how good they are at picking corners, but there are lots of areas that could be improved and I don't know enough about the draft class to know who they should be targeting picking at 25ish

Well, now that our season is over it is time for my end of year grade.

I'd give them a B-. Some great games and performances, the saints, second half v the broncos, the chargers, etc along with some very inconsistent performances and games where either our offense or defence wouldn't turn up. Our once elite defence has been cut to shreds multiple times this season, even when the offense has played well, such as Seattle though they did have some good performances at times, just very inconsistent... For me personally I saw us at the US Bank stadium against Washington which was awesome.

However, this season overall has been a rollercoaster ride and some days have been exhilarating. So I remain totally glad that I picked the Vikings over any other team. And as cliché as it sounds, it's not the winning that counts, but the taking part and the Vikings certainly take part. Unlike Saintmagic I don't hate the team, I love them and I don't think many other teams could give me the crushing lows and the exhilarating highs, it's like some kind of drug ... But I've only been for 6 years, maybe my views will change in time as I become more cynical and jaded until my views are more like Saintmagic's

Bloody hell, was not expecting that.

Though makes my prediction for San Francisco to win the super bowl more likely methinks.

Incredible how the Titans have gone and absolutely silenced New England and Baltimore away from time- Derek Henry playing like an absolute beast. Suddenly the win over New England looks less like a Brady decline and more just a team in great form.

How do you see things shaking out tonight?

Texans have the potential to give Kansas a scare but they’ll have to keep Mahomes off the field as much as possible and establish some sort of run game. If not it could be a Kansas blowout.

Green Bay and Seattle played out that incredible game a few years back. Will Green Bay get revenge?

Expect the Packers to win due to being at home. Would’ve said the Chiefs should win but currently 14 points down mid way through the first.

If you’d said the AFC Championship game would be an all AFC South battle you would’ve been laughed out of the building, but looking a distinct possibility

    Eventful game thus far...

You mean, the Packers being at home they'll get all the decision in their favour?

Texans capitulating. One thing I never understand about this sport is defence giving away blatant penalties on 3rd down.

    Dumbfounded by it.

    41 unanswered <yikes>
