It goes straight through me if the beer isn’t quite right. One of my locals has Timothy Taylor on it’s a shame as they can’t keep a pint and it’s awful.
Holdens is brewed in Wolverhampton. Was doing a survey there the other week and drove past the brewery and banks. was I Brierley hill and drove past a brewery too though couldn’t tell which one it was.
Don’t know if it’s the same now, but it was the live culture that gave you the galloping ****s if the barrel hadn’t been allowed to settle properly before tapping.
I don’t know but I do know bathams is exactly the same in so far as there are still hops in the barrel and you have to soft peg them first for two days.
I had two pints of TT Landlord on Friday. The local pub that serves it doesn't do it justice. There's a pub in a nearby village that's absolutely nailed it.

Productive afternoon and evening. Bike ride with my eldest, bumped into my useless golf partner (might as well have played on my own this morning) so stopped for a pint. Cycled back, sorted ski lessons then two separate weeks of sites in south west France for summer. Holidays more or less sorted. Just ploughing through a nice bottle of Shiraz.
