Just back from the game ... bloody frozen with that icey wind and think the players froze as well .. very lethargic. passing none existent .. certain individuals didnt look up for it all .. and one moment of quality settled it .. neither team played well today but it says it all when your central defender moves to the left side and causes more problems then your winger had for 75 minutes ! Disappointing but its were we are right now .. consistently inconsistent !
Agree with this. Mitrovic limping off then limping two yards back onto the field of play before going down like a butchered calf was utterly pathetic. Ref should have just put him out of his misery. That's the only way they'll learn.
Exactly how I felt walking back to town from the ground. I could chuck football altogether if I had to watch that ****e every week. Fulham were a disgrace, typical London team, falling over, faking injuries and cynical from the first to the last kick and as always when we play this type of team, a weak referee. We weren't good either, maybe the swirling wind didn't help ( says he clutching a bundle of straws) and we hardly laid a finger on them. Set of gobshite fans too. Most of them two pints pissed. Embarressing, like their cheating team.
Judging by the early comments on here I was expecting an easy win for Hull, never really materialised though did it lads? As some of you said “Thanks for the three points”, it was a pleasure.
Commiserations on having to watch such a cynical, abject, dishonest set of cheating ****s every week.
Unfortunately it pays off in the modern game. Until something is done about it, it will continue to negate the game as a spectator sport.
We did exactly the same at Forest away, all teams partake in a bit of time wasting and ****housery when hanging on to a one goal lead. Though Mitrovic is a special kind of ****er.
In all seriousness though, Good luck for the rest of the season lads. A big push from now til May and you might just make mid table All the best
I don't think we fall to the floor after every challenge, rolling about in agony. Visiting London teams are very good at it although Forest at our place ran them close. It isn't a good tactic and its not good for football.
Slightly odd aside, but I think Fulham have benefitted from having cheap kids prices when in the Prima Ballerina League. A young relative of mine was living down that way when a young teenager and they were in the PL. He paid about £50 a season for his season ticket, just for the sake of watching live football, which was a superb deal really. While the Fulham Yoof were funny to watch (with all their comedy Football Factory bouncing) at least they seemed to have a reasonable amount of teenagers travelling as a group, which I assume are a group that went as £50 juniors only a few years ago. Good luck to the little ****ers
Heard one lad in pink emoticon-0136-giggl) got banged out on the walkway outside the ground behind the E. He'll learn. Confucius he say, man in pink top taking the piss in the ground. needs to reckon with walk back to station in the dark.
I hate this ****housery of players throwing themselves on the floor and feigning injury. I hate it on the odd occasion we do it. It needs stamping out as it’s ruining the game. Grown men falling to the floor like they have been seriously injured. It’s ruining football as a sport for me.
Warm up was decent? Poor. Fulham didn’t look much, we beat ourselves, particularly in first half. 3 points lost to a poorly defended goal, and a bunch of low life cheating wimps, faking injury, play acting and blatant time wasting, a disgrace. First half we couldn’t make a pass to a City player, resorting to hit and hope, hoof ball. 2nd half better, couldn’t be worse, just too little too late. Bowen got more into game, but poor balls to him too near touch line. Referee and officials were appalling. Still not all bad, Leeds lost at home.
The number of overhit or misplaced passes today was unreal. It was like they'd never encountered wind before.
As I say, it seems to be the majority of Championship teams now. Football banned the backpass to the keeper's hands to stop players wasting time. Since that legislation we have about 5 new ways of running down the clock. Running into the corner with the ball with no intention of playing the ball for instance.
