Wasn't a Parky fan either but now i am.
Especially after the stick he had and the balls to fook mcgeady off.

    Really respect him now.

Just as well because our fullbacks aren’t good enough defensively for 442 but hey, who gives a shiny one?:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0100-smile

I think this was part of Parky's pre-match preparation <laugh>

How the feck are Wycombe top of the table? Nothing going for them whatsoever.

Superb from us not just the goals but the never say die defending and team spirit. Gives me great optimism for the future the way we took the league leaders apart so confidently. I had Parkinson all wrong I'd been lead to believe he was a long ball merchant but it was nothing of the sort.

I have a better grasp of Kylie's arse cheeks than Ainsworth has of tactics ...

... after seeing them down there, last season, I'd have been sick if he'd come here.

As I said in my first post I think he'll end up working in a fairground once he fails at Wycombe.

Exactly Nig. We're playing the best football I have seen since Big Sam was in charge.

We've become very entertaining to watch. Long may it continue!

I said on here the day he stood up to mc geady that if Donald backs him and doesn't crumble like Short did with Paulo it will be the turning point in the season so I am taking all the credit for where we are now.<ok><laugh>:1980_boogie_down:

Best performance in this division today, no mistakes and ripped into wycombe in them 90 mins. He should have took Gooch/Wyke off though and brought Grigg on he needs to score and we had the game won again at half time. Early days this cannot get carried away but looking good. 6 points of top 2 and can Lafferty get us goals.

Best performance of season although I do think the wind aided us with our direct style more than Wycombe who try to pass the ball.

I agree he does, but we have never looked back since leaving him, and Mcgeady out, and i dont think this is a coincidence, the sooner they are moved on the better. Watmore and McNulty give us far more imo.

Great win, great performance. Hats off to all the players and the manager. Hopefully it will continue for a good while yet. Unbelievable that they are/were top of the league.

Just back from the match, that first half was the best we’ve played in league one. It’s incredible that this is the same team that struggled to get a 0-0 at home against Bolton. The team looks organised, fitter by a mile have a hunger to destroy teams and look like scoring with every attack. Gooch is turning into an actual football player, Maguire looks fitter and back to taking the piss out of the opposition and Hume is a revelation. The first time in years I feel like I’ve been entertained and proud of a Sunderland performance, well done lads keep it going.

Best first half I’ve seen in years, some Brazil like one touch ****.

The turnaround has been magnificent and all credit to Parky. He’s not got me fully convinced yet, but he’s got me behind him.

Keep it going. It’s been a nice few weeks.

Happy as a pig in ****.
