Of course. Back in the day, if the tackled player got up again, however slowly, it wasn't a red. When Franny Benali tackled you, you stayed tackled.
Only just seen the highlights as I was out earlier. It was accidental on Aubameyang's behalf but I think it probably was a red as it was dangerous. Not sure how an appeal would stand on that ? It certainly wasn't intentionally endangering another player, it was just mistimed.
It was accidental but it doesn't have to be on purpose for it to be a red does it? He's got no chance appealing it imo.
