How much worse are NUFC and Leon Best than their numbers would suggest ?

    Sorry. I'm really just observing that NUFC and Mr Best are both acheiving results which it is hard to beleive are sustainable.

    I was asking what you thought their actual sustainable levels are.

    Well, we were only a few minutes away from a top 10 finish last season. I don't think our squad is worse off than last season so I think a top 10 finish is perfectly feasible.

    Best has got off to a decent start as well and he'll be our top striker up until at least January providing he doesn't get any injuries. I think he's capable of getting 15 goals this season.

    Do we think we're top 10 ? Top 7 ? About 12th like last year ? Without wanting to sound arsey I think we will finish between 7th and 12th, there's a lot of clubs of a similar standard so it's hard to predict but with a new striker and a little bit of luck we could get 7th.

    Is Best a 20 goal striker ? 15 ? Cart horse ? I see him breaking double figures, by how much I don't know but it could be that he's settled into the quality of the league and is reaching his true potential. Behind the lad 100% if he's hungry for 20.

    We've beaten and drawn with teams of the standard I think we should be beating and drawing (considering Arsenal's present form at least), so with that in mind, I don't think we're punching above our weight.
    Does that mean I think we'll stay 4th? Of course not, because we've yet to play the clubs that'll likely finish at the top. I do think top 10 is a more than reasonable ambition.

    If we can beat teams outside the top 6 at home, draw with the top 6 at home, draw with the top 10 away and beat the rest, we'll be on fine form. We just need to avoid bad losses at home against teams we are better than
