Considering our very recent form, if they win, would it be regarded as giant killing? Probably not, just trying to cover all angles and get the retaliation in first...
I will be "watching" (BBC and this site) a bit closely because I currently plan to be at the League fixture of SW at Loftus Rd on Easter Monday..
We are playing on a Friday night, and it is at the behest of the club, so we can get the maximum recovery time before the rearranged Blackburn match Suits me
Why is everyone so down about it being a Fri night? What's the difference to it being a Tuesday for eg? Sunday we only got 6712. We'll get more v Sheff Weds , I am sure.
As more people don't have to work Saturday mornings as do Wednesday mornings, I'd have thought it would be better too. I used to love the night games when I lived in London, get a decent crowd in there and the atmosphere was fantastic, and I reckoned we played a lot better for it.
I seem to remember a season or two in the 60s when all our home games were on a Friday night. Or am I dreaming?
Who remembers the 3rd round cup tie reply against Chelsea in 73 kicked off at 1:30 on a Monday lunchtime due to the winter of discontent and power failures....crowd just shy of 30000 packed into HQ and we beat them 1-0 first time we beat them..... Now we won't even get 10000.....how times change.....
re CFC game, I remember bunking off school for that. Did a wall collapse, or was that a different game?
