And if they voted Labour they'd be on a 4 day week, getting £15 an hour (parity with McDonalds) free broadband, etc etc etc. Yep they're thick as mince...<laugh>

They wanted Brexit, and may be they remember the dire state of the economy when Labour handed it to the Coalition in 2010. Boris knows if he wants their votes again, he'll have to look after their interests. Corbyn seemed more occupied with appeasing global terror groups

A wealthier, happier nation than us, incidentally with better workers’ rights, has brought in a four day week.

If they’re blaming that on Labour then good luck to them.

I they blame the state of the economy in 2010 on Labour and not the bankers' crash, they are indeed thick. Johnson proudly claimed to be the only politician to support the bankers, and they voted for him.<doh>

Apart from the fact every Labour voter on here has acknowledged Corbyn’s horrifically ineffective campaign but don’t let that stop you.

Labour's fault was spending profusely as if a worldwide crash could not happen, so we were ****ed when it did. Remember Brown teling us - no more boom and bust? That worked out well

....and Trump claimed they were totally prepared. Laughing stock!

If he thinks a war with Iran will give him another four years in the White House, he'll be seen as the President who invited war without good reason. Where is the UN Security Council? Surely, they shouldn't be allowing such tyranny.

It's a nothing situation. The US would annihilate Iran without even missing dinner. All Iran is doing is saving face because the regime is in trouble. What did the missiles do? It was just a 'slogan', a token gesture. It will be forgotten in a few weeks unless something happens to some US military personnel.

The slightest doubt that Iran may have access to nuclear weapons would stop the USA in their tracks - it must be obvious to anyone that the only way to deter US aggression is to have such weapons. How can anyone expect Iran to refrain from developing such things when they are surrounded by enemies. The Americans have no right to be in that part of the World in the first place. When are we finally going to wake up to the fact that the USA has invaded over 70 countries since World War 2 - if there is a threat to peace in the World then it is them.

I guess you have forgotten about all the terrorist attacks and murders not committed in 'that part of the World'?
You sound very anti-American. I would assume you don't like Trump either. <doh> Or is that the real reason?

Sadly, there will always be a US presence in the region as oil has always been the excuse. Russia has vastly increased it's presence as well so the tit-for-tat element will drive both sides agendas. Both USA and Russia rarely listen to protestation of whatever they are up to but it's interesting to note who tends to get the worst of the criticism.

Interesting to note the Ukranian plane that came down earlier, was it a rogue missile?...

It's Israel that's surrounded by enemies, and Iran has previously articulated it wanted to wipe Israel from the face of the earth. Given that Iran is run by mad theocrats, I would have thought it's obvious why Iran should never be allowed to have nuclear weapons.

Winning elections means - a) having a manifesto which is so short that people don't have to read it and b) repeating it so often that people can memorize it and c) having most of the media on your side. What the plonker (Barrister's horse not Sooperhoop !) who produced this forgot (or chose to ignore) is that the popular views of the public are created by the media.

And, therefore, those who deem to take the intellectual moral high ground and know best actually know nothing about winning elections which is the ultimate objective...
