It’s to do with goals, but it’s not that fact I had in mind. It’s something that Steve Brooker, Devon White and Phil Stant have also done.
He'll be worth millions before too long, by all accounts. Unless he blows it all within a month of course.
Very surprised they let him go. they're relying on Saleh, Mane et al not getting injured. Who's the back up Origi and then who...?
Speaking of Henriksen anybody know what's going on with him ? I assume we are desperately trying to sell him now to anybody who'll pay a fee ?
He's currently advising his Norway international colleague Mr Samuelson on how well run a club we are.
The answer being that he scored goals against City for two different clubs in one season. I Think Don Masson did it in the mid 70s as well.
Wow, that's seriously impressive trivia! I think Sinclair scored against us for Palace in 2008, the season we got promoted - just before Ashbee's glorious winner? Who was the other team?
I’ve told him my thoughts. Usually quite a reliable source. Can’t see Bowen moving there. If they go down it’s pointless.
Like most I suspect, the thought of Bowen going is hard to take. BUT.... if its £20 million plus and this goes straight off the debt and we aren't still told in a years time the debt is £50 million, then I'd reluctantly accept it. If it means new owners, it would be the best transfer window we could possibly wish for. I do wish though it would be to a team at the top of the table and not one fighting for scraps.
Tbf imho £20m would be a good starting point for him .. but certainly not what I would value him at ... currently if we are to make a press for the play offs then clubs should be told to foxtrot oscar til the season ends then re-evaluate then dependent where we are going to be playing our trade next season. We need bodies through the door to add to what McCann is building here .. not letting our star markers go mid season.
