So apparently Man Utd want Winks this month and City are considering moving for him in the summer? £50million sounds a good figure to me
Looking forward to the mental gymnastics from people convinced he's not good enough for us, yet their sainted Guardiola wants him Then again, it's The Athletic reporting this, so assume it's clickbait
Bennetts isn’t fairing much greater either. Though I could at least somewhat understand his move, seeing as he’s got German heritage and speaks fluent German. Griffiths saw those Euro signs and jumped ship asap. Had he stayed, he’d have likely played a first team game for us by now.
The good news is that reports suggest that Galatasaray are looking to sign Big Vic The bad news is that they're reports in the Turkish media...
At least someone's loan has been going well this season, good to see it's been extended too. Orient fans seems really happy with him.
It is somewhat aggravating that two of our loanees having productive loans, namely Marsh and Amos, are DMs...
Skippy's not getting game time, due to Eric Dier's triumphant return....there's no chance for those two.
I see that reportedly both City & Utd are interested in Winks. My immediate reaction to this news was ‘’Does he need a lift”
I have thought this for some years now. Would have been great under Poch, probably even more true under Jose as a backup. Just enough bite and guile in his play.
I think selling him would be a mistake. Him in a midfield three could be the way forwards. Him in a two with Sissoko is, has been, asking for trouble. He just isn't Modric, nor Dembele. Yet. What he does do though is bleed for the club, which is something that not many of the squad do.
I completely agree with this...if there's any chance of Mourinho playing a 3 man midfield. In that set up, he's a different player, as is Sissoko...and all of our other midfielders. We need home grown players and they come at considerable cost. So, if we're going to stick with 4-2-3-1 or 3-2-5, as we're playing now, then we should probably cash in his value...and Sissoko...and Lo Celso...and Dier. Therein lies the problem with Mourinho. He wants players to play his system. By the time they are just about assembled, he's fallen out with pretty much everyone and someone else comes in and wants to dismantle it. I'm wondering how Daniel Levy sees this and the next transfer window and how that compares with our manager? They may have agreed when Mourinho thought that he could turn up, smile at the cameras, pat Dele on the back and all would be well. Right now, I'm guessing that's not still the case?
Possibly. I just don’t rate him. Never have. To me he’s a bang average player who adds very little apart from his energy.
I like him too but I think he’s an at an age where he’d wanna be first choice. Can’t see him staying at Fulham much longer but I’d be surprised if he left them to play a back up role. Would love to be wrong though.
Seriously? He’s nowhere near the quality of striker needed even if it is to play second fiddle to Kane.
